Brgy San Agustin, Bauan, Batangas, is one of the Barangays in the municipality of Bauan. At high elevation, the barangay connects to different barangays of Bauan, San Luis, and even Anilao. Bauan is a 1st class municipality and has stunning waters and home to some exclusive beach and dive resorts such as Dive & Trek, Portulano and Tortuga Dive resorts. It has white sand coastline and rich in stones that may also contribute to building structures. Developments are lined up both by provincial and national government units. Projects in the area include tourism highways that will connect to different highway belts and many more. One of them is the NBEX or Nasugbu-Bauan Expressway under San Miguel Infrastructure project. Another major infrastructure project to emerge in Bauan at 2025 is the ICTSI (Intl Container Terminal)
